The difference
Expired Domains VS Fresh Domains
A fresh registration costs a few dollars and gives you a name. An expired domain gives you the years of links someone else already built.
| What you care about | A fresh domain | An expired domain from us |
|---|---|---|
| Authority (DR, TF) | Starts at zero | Built up over years |
| Backlinks | You earn every single one | Real links from real sites, already in place |
| Google trust | Often slow to be noticed | Already crawled and indexed |
| Time to first results | Months, sometimes years | Shorter: the links are already there |
| Cost of building links | Outreach, content, patience | One fixed price, shown up front |
| Checked for risk | Nothing to check | History, spam and index checked before listing |
The market today
Plenty of sellers. Few who check what they sell.
Anyone can list an expired domain. Reading what it used to be takes time most sellers skip.
Stock nobody looked at
Lists pulled from auctions and resold as they are, with no one reading what the old site was.
Scores that flatter
High-looking metrics that come from link farms and networks, not from real sites.
Silence after payment
You pay, then wait with no word on where your transfer is.
Doing it yourself
Finding a good one yourself is a grind
It can be done. It just takes a lot of tools, time and patience before you have one worth building on.
- 01
Sifting
Hundreds of thousands of domains expire every day, and almost all of them are worthless.
- 02
Tools
Link, history and index tools each come with their own subscription and learning curve.
- 03
Checking
Every candidate has to be read by hand for spam, redirects and a changed topic.
- 04
Bidding
Auctions push prices up, and the best domains are gone within hours.
The risk
What a bad domain really costs you
The price on the listing is the smallest part of it.
A penalty you inherit
A spammy history can drag a new site down before it has a chance.
Wasted content spend
You pay for writing and links on a domain that never ranks.
Lost months
You only find out after the site is built and the weeks have gone.
Paying for a number
Prices that follow a score instead of what is actually behind the domain.
Why they work
Why expired domains work
The links are the hard part of SEO. An expired domain has already done that part.
Aged
Search engines have had years to get to know the domain, which a new registration cannot offer.
A link profile built over time
Links earned from real sites over many years would cost a great deal to build from scratch.
A head start
The domain is already known and crawled, so a new site on it starts further along.
Links to the homepage
The links point at the main page, so the whole site you build can benefit.
Before a domain is listed
What every domain comes with
Six things we look at and write down, so you buy a record you can read instead of a guess.
Links from real sites
We read the actual backlinks and anchors, not only the scores.
A clean history
Checked in the Wayback Machine year by year for spam, link farms and redirect chains.
The niche it is listed in
The old site matches the category, so its links still make sense.
Links to the homepage
Backlinks that point at the root domain, not buried on inner pages.
Still in Google
Indexed domains are free of manual actions and penalties.
Metrics you can compare
DR, DA, TF, CF, referring domains, traffic and age, side by side.
Pricing
Price follows power
Every domain gets a Power score from 0 to 100 built from its real metrics. The stronger the link profile, the higher the fixed price. No haggling, no bidding.
What Power is made of
Five signals you can check yourself on every domain page:
- 35LinksDifferent websites that link to it
- 25TrustTrust Flow or Domain Rating, whichever is higher
- 15AuthorityDomain Rating or Domain Authority
- 15AgeYears since it was first seen online
- 10CitationCitation Flow: how much link volume points at it
Typical price by Power
Where a domain lands on the ladder when we list it.
- Power 0–29$19
- Power 30–39$29
- Power 40–51$49
- Power 52–61$69
- Power 62–74$79
- Power 75+$149
Starting points: some domains are priced individually. Casino & gambling domains carry a ×2 premium because their links are scarcer.

Find the right expired domain for what you build
Agencies and SEO teams use expired domains for new money sites, for private blog networks and for 301 redirects into an existing site. Filter by niche, authority, age and price to find one that fits, then reveal its name and full history.
Still not convinced?
Reveal 50 domain names a day, free.
Look at the real numbers and history first. Buy $300 or more and every name is shown, every day.
What is an expired domain?
A domain whose owner stopped renewing it. When it drops, the links other websites made to it over the years still point at it. Those links are what you are buying: a new site on an old domain starts with a history instead of from zero.
Why are the names hidden?
So the list can't be copied and the domains sniped elsewhere. Sign up free to reveal up to 50 names a day. Once you've bought $300 or more in total, every name is shown.
Can someone else buy the domain while I am paying?
No. When you go to payment, your domains are held for you for 30 minutes. If the payment isn't finished in that time, they go back on sale.
What happens after I pay?
Your order moves through four steps you can watch in your account: Paid, Transfer started, Auth code sent, Completed. You get an email at each step. We start the transfer within 24 hours.
